summer vacation

You might be able to guess what I did on my summer vacation…bought yarn!!
Clockwise from top left (all links take you to Rav):
- Athena. 100% Merino Lace, 800 yds (or maybe 1000, this is unclear). Purchased at Have Ewe Any Wool.
- Cone of unknown brand. 80% linen, 20% Cotton, laceweight single, 1500 yds. Purchased at Daft Dames Handcrafts.
- (2) Yarn for Sox. 80% wool, 20% nylon, heavy worsted, 215 yds each. Purchased at Have Ewe Any Wool.
- Araucania Ranco. 75% wool, 25% polyamide, fingering, 376 yds. Purchased at The Woolly Lamb.
There’s more (especially of the cones, which are hard for me to resist) but the rest will have to wait. I’m packing for our next vacation (mountains! travel knitting! camping! yarn store detours!) and we will hit the road, as they say, in the morning.

it is lovely. i went to mallorca. spotted three yarn stores but nothing really worth stopping for. enjoy the mountains, mandy.
